The Murph Challenge: Honoring Fallen Service Members

The Official Annual Fundraiser of the LT. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Foundation

The Murph Challenge is an annual fundraiser that honors fallen service members. It was created in 2005 by Lieutenant Commander Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL who was killed in Afghanistan in 2005. The challenge is completed on Memorial Day and involves a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another 1-mile run.

175 Rogue Echo Weight Vest Plates

The Murph Challenge can be completed with or without weight. However, many people choose to add weight to the challenge to make it more difficult. The most common weight used is a 20-pound weight vest. However, some people choose to use more or less weight depending on their fitness level.

Honoring Fallen Service Members

The Murph Challenge is a unique way to honor fallen service members. It is a physically challenging event, but it is also a meaningful way to remember those who have died while serving our country.
